The health and safety of our guests and staff is our top priority, so we are doing everything possible to make certain that all our properties are safe, sanitary, and germ-free. In fact, we have developed a comprehensive property-wide program to provide you with the highest level of safety.

Property Safety Upgrades 

To ensure that The Lake House on Canandaigua provides a safe and hygienic environment, hospitality-grade disinfectant will be used in each guest room upon departure as well as throughout all public areas of the hotel on a regular basis each day with an emphasis on high-touch surfaces.

Lobby & Public Spaces 

Hand sanitizer dispensers are located strategically around the hotel in high-volume traffic areas and back-of-house staff quarters.

All vendors must follow CDC procedures.

Guest Procedures 

Consistent with the guidance from the State Department of Health, appropriate face coverings are recommended, but not required. New York State and the State Department of Health continue to strongly recommend face coverings in all public indoor settings as an added layer of protection.

The Lake House does not require a negative COVID-19 test to stay at the hotel, but do caution travelers to please cancel or postpone their stay with us if they are sick or are showing any symptoms. *The Willowbrook Spa will remain a Wellness Sanctuary, while in that space all Guests will be required to wear masks.*
